Black Queens head coach, Nora Hauptle, has revealed that some players picked nocks in their 3-0 win over Benin in their second round 2024 Paris Olympic Games qualifier in Cotonou on Friday.
The Swiss coach said this after the game ahead of the reverse fixture on Tuesday, October 31 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Hauptle also added that the technical team will rewatch the game and make some decisions from it.
“I think first we need to observe all the players. There are some nocks and then we need to ensure that we have a very smooth travel so we can have a good recovery the next days,” she said.
“Of course, we the staff we will rewatch the game tonight and take the right conclusions out of it.
“We still have two training sessions in Ghana and of course it is also about finding a certain freshness in the lineup for next Tuesday.”
Doris Boaduwaa opened the scoring for the Black Queens in the 45th minute from the penalty spot before Grace Assifuah bagged a five-minute brace to wrap up the scoring.
