Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed satisfaction with his outfit output against Equatorial Guinea in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations opening game.
The Super Eagles played out a 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea and faces difficult task against Ivory Coast in their second Group A clash on Thursday.
According to Iheanacho, the Super Eagles did well in their opening game and has called for an improved performance against Ivory Coast.
“Our game against Ivory Coast is going to be strong because they are in their country and playing on home turf, so it will be a difficult game. we just have to prepare ourselves and be ready to play. Obviously, we did really well against Equatorial Guinea. We created a lot of chances and defended really so we just need to tidy up a bit for Ivory Coast game” he said.
