Ghana head coach Chris Hughton has revealed he will meet with the Black Stars goalkeepers’ coach and they will make decisions on which goalkeeper will start against Egypt on Thursday night in their Africa Cup of Nations second group game.
Richard Ofori who started the game against Cape Verde has come under pressure after committing errors that led to Ghana’s loss on Sunday.
Speaking ahead of the all-important match against the Pharaohs, Hughton was not straightforward on which goalkeeper will start vs Egypt.
“We have three goalkeepers, and we have a very good goalkeepers’ coach with us.
“We are in conversations in training during preparations for the game and we will make decisions.”
Egypt as well needed a late Mohamed Salah penalty to hold Mozambique to a 2-2 draw in their opening match too.
That leaves Group B open, with the record winners and Mozambique having one point each behind Cape Verde while Ghana are bottom of the group.
The Black Stars game against the Pharaohs will be played at the Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny in Abidjan.
