Black Stars deputy captain, Thomas Partey has arrived in Accra on Tuesday morning and is set to team up with the rest of his teammates at Alisa Hotel later today.
The Black Stars on Monday opened camp for their matchday five games against Madagascar but the Arsenal midfielder could not report to camp as reported by Footballghana.com.
Partey was absent in the team's first training held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Following his arrival, the 29-year-old is expected to join the squad to prepare for the match scheduled to be played on Sunday.
The midfielder's arrival means all the 25 players invited for the game are in camp.
Partey is expected to keep his place in the team as the Black Stars hope to keep their fine start of the qualifiers intact.
The Black Stars will hold training this morning and later this evening at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The team will leave Accra on Friday, June 16 for Madagascar.
The match against the Bareas will be held at Stade Kianja Barea in Antananarivo at 17:00GMT on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
The Black Stars need a win to secure their place in the 2023 AFCON that is scheduled to be hosted in Ivory Coast next year.
