Nations FC defender, Razak Simpson has been named in Ghana’s provisional squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Coach Chris Hughton last week submitted his final 55-man squad to CAF in accordance with the regulations of the tournament.
In the squad, he named 12 players selected from the Ghana Premier League.
One of the players is Razak Simpson.
The full-back is versatile and can also play in midfield when needed.
After impressing in the Ghana Premier League since the start of the 23/24 campaign, he could be playing in the 2023 AFCON if he makes it into the final squad of Chris Hughton.

The tournament will kick off in Ivory Coast on January 13.
At the 2023 AFCON, Ghana has been pitted in Group B and will face off with Cape Verde, Egypt, and Mozambique.
