The Black Stars of Ghana finally know their opponents for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament group stage.
The official draw for the 34th edition of the continent tournament was held on Thursday, October 12.
At the end of the draw, Ghana has been pitted in group B where the Black Stars will face off with their counterparts from Egypt, Cape Verde, and Mozambique.
The draw ended with defending Champions Senegal being pitted in Group C where they will face off with the likes of Cameroon, Guinea, and The Gambia.
Meanwhile, record Champions Egypt has been drawn into Group B and will have to deal with Ghana, Cape Verde, and Mozambique.
For the host nation Ivory Coast, the Elephants will face off with Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.
The opening match of the 2023 AFCON is scheduled to be played on January 13 between Ivory Coast and Guinea-Bissau.
