Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze says his outfit stalemate against Equatorial Guinea in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations opener is not a bad start.

Iban Salvador opened the scoring for Equatorial Guinea in the 36th minute mark before Napoli star Victor Osimhen pulled parity two minutes later.
Chukwueze, who plies his trade for Italian giants AC Milan insists his side stalemate in the opening game is not a bad start.
“It wasn’t a bad game because we manage to earn a draw. We missed some chances but it wasn’t a bad start for us” he said.
