Chris Hughton will hope to end the country's 41-year Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast next year.

The Irish-born coach led the Black Stars to qualify for Africa's prestigious tournament after replacing Otto Addo as the head coach of the side.

Ghana finished as group winners with 12 points.

However, on Thursday, October 12, in Abidjan, the Black Stars discovered their group opponents for the tournament.

Ghana have been housed in Group B alongside seven-time champions, Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique.
