Ghana coach, Chris Hughton will assemble a solid squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast next year.
The Black Stars on Thursday, October 12 discovered their group opponents for the tournament slated to kick off from January 13 and February 11, 2024.
Ghana, who are four-time champions of the AFCON tournament have been drawn against Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique in Group B.
In a bid to win the fifth continental title, Hughton will assemble a solid team capable of lifting the trophy.
The likes of Thomas Partey, Daniel Amartey, Abdul Salis, Inaki Williams, Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Kudus, Ernest Nuamah, and Jordan Ayew among other key players are expected to be named in the squad.
However, it is unknown if clubless Andre Ayew, who is the captain for the team will be included in the squad for the tournament.
