Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan has hailed Angola striker Mabululu after his sparkling goal against Namibia in the round of 16 of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Mabululu, who plies his trade for Al Ittihad scored to seal win for Angola in the much-anticipated encounter on Saturday evening.
The forward showcased his skills by curling a precise shot from a tight angle into the far corner during a counter-attack as Angola cruised to a resounding 3-0 win.
However, the former Ghana international, who is not new to such goals has taken to social media to eulogize Mabululu’s great strike against Namibia.
He wrote, "This is my type of goals. There have been great goals in the tournament, but this goal is my best goal. Look at how he was able to twist and manage to score from that angle. I’m loving it. Great goal by all standards."
Angola are through to the quarterfinals of the Cup of Nations and will lock horns with Nigeria, who defeated Cameroon 2-0 in the Round 16 tie on Saturday.
