The Ghana Football Association (GFA)‘s to pre-camp the Black Stars in South Africa ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations has been criticised by some journalists.
The GFA confirmed on Monday, December 25, in an official statement confirming Johannesburg as their camping destination ahead of the tournament in January.
This did not go down well with some Journalists who went hard on the association for making such a decision when the weather conditions in South Africa and Ivory Coast are very much different.
The lack of development in facilities was also criticised by the journalists.

The players will report for their pre-2023 Africa Cup of Nations camping on Sunday, December 31, 2023.
The Black Stars will then play a friendly match against Botswana in Johannesburg on Monday, January 8, 2024, before flying to Abidjan two days later for the tournament.
Ghana is set to open their group stage campaign against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14, 2024 - that is in 18 days.
The Black Stars will then play against record champions Egypt in their second group match against Egypt in four days before wrapping up the group face against Mozambique on January 22.
By January 2024, it will be 42 years since Ghana last won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1982.
