2023 AFCON Qualifiers: Twenty-three players arrive in Black Stars camp ahead of CAR clash

Ghana captain Andre Ayew, Mohammed Kudus and Ernest Nuamah are among the players to have arrived in Black Stars training camp in Accra ahead of their clash with Central Africa Republic in the final round of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Black Stars will face the Wild Beasts on Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium as both teams eye qualification to the continental showpiece to be staged in Ivory Coast in January 2024.

On Monday, 12 players reported to camp to commence preparation for the crucial game at the Accra Sports Stadium. But Ghana are two players away to get full house as off Tuesday morning.

Twenty-three players have now reported to camp and are expected to train on Tuesday morning in Accra before they depart to Kumasi.

Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew and goalkeeper Richard Ofori will join the team later in Kumasi.

The Wild Beasts will face Ghana at the Baba Yara Stadium in the final round of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The visitors must beat Ghana at all cost to secure qualification to the continental showpiece but Ghana are just a point away from securing a spot at the AFCON.

Midfielders: Abdul Samed-Salis, Baba Iddrisu, Edmund Addo, Andre Ayew, Elisha Owusu, Mohammed Kudus, Ransford Konigsdorffer

Forwards: Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, Ernest Nuamah, Osman Bukari, Joseph Painstil, Jonathan Sowah
