Confederation of African Football (CAF) officials are set to make a crucial visit to the Black Stars today, marking a pivotal moment in the lead-up to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).
Henry Asante Twum, the spokesman for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), revealed that CAF representatives will extend the customary welcome to the Ghanaian squad at their hotel in Ivory Coast.
This comes on the heels of the Black Stars' grand entrance into Ivory Coast yesterday, where they made a statement by landing in style, adorned in the vibrant traditional kente.
Adding another dimension of significance to their journey, the Black Stars wasted no time, hitting the training ground for the first time yesterday evening.
"Our schedule is very packed CAF officials have sent us a message that they will come and give us a big welcome," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"They call it team arrival meeting officials, referees, technical, management, administrations everything that we should know concerning the tournament they will talks to us about it," he added.
