Head coach of Berekum Chelsea, Samuel Boadu, has endorsed Dreams FC in their pursuit of the CAF Confederation Cup title, with the hope that they would secure an additional slot for Ghanaian clubs in CAF club football competitions.
Dreams FC are on the brink of a crucial showdown in the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinal against their Malian counterparts, Stade Malien.
The first leg is slated to come off this weekend in Bamako, with Dreams FC set to host the return leg in Kumasi the subsequent Sunday.
In an interview with Akoma 87.9 FM, the former Hearts of Oak coach expressed faith in Dreams FC, particularly acknowledging the leadership of Karim Zito, to clinch the title.
“I know Dreams FC to be a good team, especially Karim Zito who is my father in coaching,” Boadu told the Kumasi-based radio station.
“It is my hope Dreams FC wins the CAF Confederation Cup so that we can get additional slots.”
