Karela United will be playing in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season after beating Kotoku Royals on Sunday afternoon to escape relegation.
The team from Anyinase struggled to compete in the 2022/23 football season and nearly suffered relegation.
In a final game of the season against Kotoku Royals, Karela United needed a win to guarantee safety.
Stepping up to the occasion, the team scored twice in the first 45 minutes to take control of the match.
Although Kotoku Royals would threaten in the second half with goals from Richard Mensah and Andy Kumi, Karela United managed to score a third goal to secure a 3-2 win at the end of the 90 minutes.
The win has seen Karela United finish seventh on the Ghana Premier League standings.
