Real Tamale United (RTU) beat Accra Great Olympics 3-1 in their match week 24 clash on Thursday evening at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.

The visitors started the game very well and got the lead in the 5th minute through Yusif Abdul Razak.

Real Tamale United took control of the game as half time approached. They got a free kick in the 40th minute, Stephen Badu stepped behind the ball and shot wide off target.

After half time the home side continued from were the left in the first half pouring more men forward looking for a breakthrough.

Real Tamale United made a double change, Frimpong replaced Kwame Boakye and Hardi replaced Issahaku Fusieni.

Mohammed Sadat in the 55th minute scored the equalizer for Real Tamale United.

Stephen Badu blasted the home side into the lead in the 64th minute for the first time in the intense encounter.

Badu again with a brilliant strike in the 66th minute made it 3-1 to Real Tamale United. After six minutes of added time the referee ended the game at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.

RTU is 10th on the league table with 32 points and Great Olympics is 17th with 28 points. RTU will clash with Asante Kotoko while Great Olympics will play Berekum Chelsea.
