King Faisal held regional rivals Asante Kotoko to a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday night in the Match Week 22 clash of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.
The game was postponed because of the Black Stars' match against Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) at today's venue.
The Porcupine Warriors' hope of moving into the top four did not come to fruition as they fell short to Hearts of Oak on head-to-head. Both teams have 39 points from 25 games.
Frederick Asare was forced by King Faisal to make some decent saves in the first half as no goals were recorded.
Both sides made a number of changes in the second half, but there was still no goal from either side as the Kumasi derby ended in a stalemate.
However, King Faisal finished the game with ten men as Abdul Latif was sent off 11 minutes before the end of the game.
